Our Services

Train your dog for the life you lead together.

It all starts with a free consultation.

Every dog & every owner is different. Some owners dream adventuring with their dog, others want their dog to show off perfect obedience, and others simply want their dog to walk on a loose leash. Whatever your goals are, we can help!

The Process

Free Consultation

Bring your dog along and sit down with us to discuss your training and lifestyle goals.

Customized Programming

We’ll use what we learned in our consultation to build the most appropriate training plan for you & your dog.

Owner Education

Owner education is paramount to a dog’s success. We provide in depth owner education, including detailed training videos about lifestyle, training, and your dog’s progress.

Custom Training Services

  • Custom Training Components

    Private Lessons

Lessons can take place at a variety of locations, including at Kat’s Dogs, at an owner’s residence, at a neighborhood park, or even at a brewery patio.

    Residency Stays

A residency stay is when your dog stays with us at Kat’s Dogs to learn and practice new skills. They train in a home based environment and benefit from working and living with a trainer & a fully trained pack of dogs.

We like to devote all our attention to our Residency Dogs, so we only take one Residency Dog at a time.

    Potential Training Targets:

Lifestyle Skills like loose leash walking, not rushing through doors, and politely greeting guests

Obedience Skills like sit, down, heel, come, & place commands

    Off-Leash Obedience

Car, Roadtrip, & Drive Through Manners

    Hardware & Craft Store Manners

    Public Patio Manners

This is a Specialized Program designed to address major behavioral issues like resource guarding and reactivity.

Owners with dogs who qualify for our Behavior Modification go through the same introductory process as all of our other clients and dogs, including a free consultation and custom program design.

Owning a dog with behavioral issues can be stressful and overwhelming. We are passionate about doing everything we can to help owners better understand their dog’s behavior, identify and mitigate stressors, and building a sustainable lifestyle that works for both them and their dogs

    Potential Training Targets:
